WARREN: One of the newest employers to come to my town in Ann Arbor is Google and everybody is, you know, hearing of Google these days and they've opened a big office in downtown Ann Arbor and one of the first times that some of my, some of our, legislative colleagues from Washtenaw County went and met with Google we asked them, you know, why did you pick Michigan? There were a lot of places that you could have gone and, like us, some of their higher-ups are alums of the University of Michigan so they came back to a place that they were familiar from their studies at the University, but in the top three things that were mentioned, one was quality of life is so important to their employees and that is something that you can't, you can't really put a price on what it means to have the babbling brooks and streams that we have and in so many of our communities. It's not just the big Great Lakes, which are important, but that a lot of people don't realize that in Michigan, you're never more than 6, there's nowhere in Michigan, that you're more than 6 miles from the next body of water so it is a part of almost every community in Michigan.
